The Chairperson of the Commission of Employment Equity, Tabea Kabinde, recently sent a letter to all Designated Employers, providing guidance regarding the response to the impact of COVID19 pandemic on the implementation of employment equity in the Labour Market.
In the letter she dealt with:
a) Employers’ continual EE legal obligations under COVID19.
b) The possible review and amendment of EE Plans where COVID19 rendered 2020 EE Targets unachievable.
c) The submission of EEA2 and EEA4 Reports.
d) Instances of inability to submit EEA2 and EEA4 Reports as a result of the impact of COVID19 on the business.
