Equity Pro’s Key Features
Equity Pro is a comprehensive, web-based Employment Equity (‘EE’) software application designed to facilitate planning, management, and achievement of EE Goals for small to large organisations in South Africa.
Key features:
Comprehensive EE Planning and Goal Setting
- Aligns fully with amended EE Act and Regulations, uses Sector Targets (top four occupational levels), National/Provincial EAP, users’ workforce profile, vacancies, growth/shrinkage, attrition, retirements, and promotions to set realistic individual race and gender Goals based on selected % Black Goal, % Black Female Goals, and % White Female Goals per occupational level, including for Persons with Disabilities.
Management of EE Goal setting within Occupational Levels
- Equity Pro’s Subpool functionality within an Occupational Level facilitates the setting of EE Goals and management of different Job Families/Sub-Grades within an Occupational Level such as Professors, Associate Professors and Senior Lecturers at Universities or attorneys and admin staff at firms of attorneys.
Facilitates identification, targeting and tracking of Targets Groups for appointment
- Imports monthly workforce data for real-time analysis, so as to enable the identification of underrepresented groups to be targeted for appointment (Targets Groups) each time an appointment needs to be made with reference to Users’ Workforce Profile at the time and their EE Goals as required.
- Facilitates the targeting of underrepresented groups for appointment in the different Occupational Level according to their EE Goals as required.
- Facilitates the following of procedures and production of evidence as required in respect of each appointment made.
- Facilitates the tracking of appointments made pursuant thereto, and progress in achieving their EE Goals with the option of using graphs.
Modular design to manage of EE Goal setting across diverse and complex organisational structures
- Offers Equity Pro Lite for single-module users and Equity Pro Group Suite (with Overview, Group, Divisional, Branch modules) for larger, multi-structured organisations, facilitating bottom-up goal setting aligned to Sector Targets, ownership and the setting of Goals using provincial EAPs for designated employer with national footprints which are then aggregated into the users’ EE Goals in each Occupational Level.
- This facilitates the management of EE Goal setting across diverse and complex organizational structures, from single-site companies to large, multi-site corporations with numerous divisions and business units.
- Allows for the aggregation and comparison of data across the organization and structures.
Completion of EEA13, EEA12, EEA2, and EEA4
